Swap shop - Conte to Napoli, Sarri to Chelsea according to reports
Napoli's official radio station has remarkably claimed that Maurizio Sarri is likely to move to English Premier League club Chelsea, with current Blues boss Antonio Conte going the other direction.
The Partenopei's Scudetto hopes took a major blow on the weekend, after their 3-0 loss at Fiorentina and Juventus' 3-2 win over Inter Milan. This left Napoli trailing the six-time defending champions by four points with only three games to play.
Juve only need two wins to be sure of the Scudetto, and they have home games with Bologna and Verona to come.
Sarri is yet to sign a contract extension, and can leave for €8 million if the clause is activated before May 31.
Talks have been postponed until the end of the season, but there are suggestions his cycle has ended and the coach could look to move on.
Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli has reported that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is now determined to bring Sarri to London, and is ready to pay his release clause.
Reports are that Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis is already moving to replace Sarri, with links to Simone Inzaghi, Rafa Benitez, Marco Giampaolo and Unai Emery.
However, Conte is now being reported as Napoli's main target.
The former Juventus and Italy national team coach is said to be looking for a return to Italy.
