Police probe welder’s death

Detectives assigned to the Manchester Police Division are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at his home on Independence Day.

Dead is 20-year-old Tyshane Tindale, a welder of Christiana, Manchester.

Reports from the Mandeville police are that about 2 p.m., Tindale and a female companion had an altercation.

It is alleged that she wrapped a piece of electrical cord around his neck, after which Tindale became unconscious and fell to the ground.

The police were alerted, and on their arrival, he was seen lying on the ground with wounds to his neck. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

As news of Tindale's death spread, social media users have expressed shock at his passing, while describing him as a hard-working youngster.
