There are 421 types of dance music - including Grave Wave and Witch House.

Expert statistician Dr Geoff Ellis compiled a list of every EDM sub-genre that exists and found the industry is booming. The research also shows that British music-goers are attending dance music events well into their 30s and 40s and named Calvin Harris as their favourite DJ.
