Jamaican music royals Beenie Man and Morgan Heritage are teaming up for an ambitious series of concerts dubbed 'The King and the Royals' world tour.

The tour is set to kick off in the United Kingdom, with stops planned in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain. Plans are under way to expand the tour to North America, the Caribbean, and Africa, marking the first large-scale tour under Morgan Heritage 2.0. The tour's first confirmed appearance will be August 1, 2026, when Morgan Heritage headlines the Reggae Land Festival in England.

Mojo Morgan of Morgan Heritage says it feels like the perfect time to "unite forces and create a tour that celebrates reggae, dancehall, heritage, and evolution all at once."

Promising an epic musical alliance, the tour brings together Grammy-winning artistes with extensive catalogues and high-energy live performances.

"We know that the king of dancehall will bring high energy, classic hits, crowd engagement, and the unmistakable presence of a true dancehall icon. Beenie Man brings decades of hit records and stage mastery that perfectly complements Morgan Heritage's roots-driven, melodic catalogue," Mojo said.

He described it as far more than a typical show, highlighting that it will combine lyrical mastery with spiritual upliftment.

"Morgan Heritage is known as the Royal Family of Reggae and Beenie Man is universally recognised as the King of Dancehall, so the King and the Royals felt organic," Mojo told THE STAR.

The concept for the concert emerged from a conversation Beenie Man had with the late Peetah Morgan and Mojo.

"The name actually came from a conversation we had, where we were talking about what was next for us creatively and culturally, and how to supersede what we've already achieved in our careers. During that time, we were also making plans to record a song together for the Homeland album, which was the last studio album for Morgan Heritage before Peetah ascended," Mojo said.

He added that both sets of artistes have always maintained mutual respect for one another. With Morgan Heritage 2.0 gaining renewed momentum and Beenie Man continuing to deliver top-tier performances worldwide, the collaboration was a natural fit.

"We want to honour our legacy while showcasing where Morgan Heritage is today and where we're headed. It's about reconnecting with long-time fans, introducing the next generation to our music, and celebrating Jamaican culture at the highest level. Reggae and dancehall at its finest! It's also a tribute to our brother Peetah and the foundation he helped build," Mojo said.

The reggae singer said fans should expect new Morgan Heritage and Beenie Man music, along with solo releases from Mojo Morgan, Gramps Morgan, and Jemere Morgan.

"We also have a powerful collaboration called Positive, featuring Beenie Man and Shaggy, which originated from the same creative energy that helped inspire this tour."
