Hennessy to flow at Burna Boy concert
Hennessy is set to place its ultra-premium touch on the upcoming Burna Boy Live concert by providing the ultimate experience for specially invited patrons who will occupy the ultra VIP section.
The Burna Boy concert, which will take place at the National Stadium in St Andrew on Sunday, December 18, is part of the Grammy-award winning Nigerian artiste's Love Damini tour. Jamaica's internationally acclaimed artiste, Popcaan, will also perform at the event.
The Love Damini tour will run in three Caribbean countries over three nights, December 16 in Trinidad and Tobago, December 17 in Antigua, and December 18 in Jamaica.
Love Damini is the name of Burna Boy's sixth studio album. It has been nominated for Best Global Music Album at the Grammy Awards. The project features TAS, a collab with Popcaan. The song is an ode to former Miss World Toni-Ann Singh, who like the Jamaican superstar, hails from the eastern parish of St Thomas.
Kamal Powell, regional marketing manager at Campari, distributors for Hennessy, is ecstatic about having his product being associated with the Burna Boy Live concert.
"Hennessy is a premium entertainment brand, and we always seek to align with strong high-value events. The Love Damini event falls into this category. Hennessy will be outfitting and building out the ultra VIP section for its esteemed guests who can look forward to a truly rewarding, entertaining and exceptional experience," Powell said.
"We are happy to welcome Burna Boy to the island for the first time to perform. Hennessy will go above and beyond to ensure that it is a memorable event for our valued consumers," he added.
The Burna Boy Live concert tour kicked off in May this year and is expected to conclude at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark in June 2023.
